To be fair, United didn't put those restrictions on travel in place, your government did...

    66 BILLION ($$$$$$) for A M T R A K !!!

Well, at least you admit you're pretending. Nah, I don't see a need to impress people I've never met. But years of your posts trying to appear credible do say otherwise about you.

Oh, please. You're not the only one here who's worked on railroad property, Bigot...

    66 BILLION ($$$$$$) for A M T R A K !!!

Anyone who works on a farm or around a hangar or factory floor should know what poisonous on inhalation and toxic on inhalation mean... But hey, you drove a train around your dad's factory once when you were 16. That seems to have qualified you to answer a question Bears directed at me.

Is Biden delusional? Tesla is the leader.

Yay Tesla, but I think you're grossly underestimating the ability of the Big Three to make a quality product in volume that exceeds Tesla's. And they'll eventually run out of rich liberals to sell them to. I'm a truck person, and find Tesla's attempt at a truck a bit on the ugly side, but...

    66 BILLION ($$$$$$) for A M T R A K !!!

Sheesh, you're more of an idiot than I thought, Bigot. Only one locomotive there. A slug is an unpowered unit with ballast instead of fuel and/or a prime mover, and gets its (usually) 600v power from a leading locomotive.... Plus, the Tulsa-Sapulpa didn't roster any slugs. Wasn't needed...

Is Biden delusional? Tesla is the leader.

Tesla might be an innovator, but they're nowhere near the ability to mass produce EV's to the degree GM, BMW or VW can. Tesla is about at capacity turning out 500K units per year. GM can build that many at just one plant running one shift on weekdays, and they have 11 plants just in the US.

If you want hugs and a mug of hot cocoa over your memories of running a switcher or riding in a helicopter, you're probably in the wrong place.

Rude awakening for US small business's in less than 2 months.

If you're such a political savant, how come you can't even spell your Senator's name correctly?.... It's Hassan. I don't think I ever said it would be Sununu. It wouldn't have surprised me to see him make a run, but now that he's closed that door, it clears room for what I was really...

    RIP, Jan Crandall

Just saw this in PlaneBusiness of all places.... Jan had been suffering from pancreatic cancer, Alzheimer's and COPD. I never met Mrs. Crandall personally, but did see her several times at DFW as well as the day Bob retired. Godspeed to Jan, and condolences to Bob for losing the love of his...

Riot's successful, Dem's in Wylie Coyote Mode

The McMichaels and Bryan all deserve to be in jail for a very long time. It's too bad Arbery wasn't armed. He'd have been within his rights to kill all three of them instead of the other way around.. Nice try at deflection Bears.

Nah, just glad to see justifiable self defense is still legal and watch liberals go crazy every time a jury does the right thing.

Operating a locomotive is no great feat. Just about every train museum has a "hold the throttle" program where you can operate an antique for $100 or so. I prefer to ride in the left seat when I'm up in a cab. Better view and more legroom... I'll stick with repairing and maintaining vs...

    66 BILLION ($$$$$$) for A M T R A K !!!

I don't think a lot of things the Govt does are worth the money spent, but in comparison... Amtrak gets $6B a year and provides a tangible service people are willing to pay for, and frankly, provide a lot of direct and indirect employment. Then there's the Dept. of Education who gets over...

A GIFT for " The MAN " : Pay Even HIGHER WAGES, More UNIONS, and MORE (Uncle Joe's) $$$$ TAXES !!!

Yeah, a couple hundred guys earning $65/hour and getting paid for hours not worked is hardly indicative of where labor is today. But, it's a lot like Bear's airport yoga pant fantasy. He'll never get any of that, no matter how good it looks.

Whatever Bigot. Prove me wrong. Besides, your average locomotive engineer doesn't know much beyond their district let alone what FDNY's restrictions are on the Hudson tubes, unless they worked for NJT or Amtrak and operated in the tubes.

A GIFT for " The MAN " : Pay Even HIGHER WAGES, More UNIONS, and MORE (Uncle Joe's) $$$$ TAXES !!!

Only Bears could read about people choosing to retire and figure that's "giving it to the Man".... The people who can afford to retire are the ones who earned enough to have retirement income. That's not your average fast food or grocery/retail worker. With inflation, it will be interesting...

So is AA now discriminating against employees who don't consent to injections?

Unless you have a form-fitted lab quality bio-hazard mask, what 99% of people currently wear is about as effective as using a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out of their yard. You might trap a few moisture droplets, but as that moisture dries up, virus particles continue to be pushed freely...
