2015 Fleet Service thread

It's not spin it's the reality of the situation. It's quite apparent none you understand the IAM and how it operates.

Notice the only forum posters defending the Ass have key vested interests inside it! No pun intended.

So they should stop grievance work?

So do you want to go tell the terminated members they can just to wait?

Are you going to support them?
They should work harder for the 10,000 people who weren't terminated

Instead of meeting whenever they feel like it, both unions should be busting their azz 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. It would be great if we could stop paying dues until they got their S### together. I'm sure that if that were the case, they would have been at the table weeks ago. Instead, we all sit on the sidelines while $$$$ keep passing us by. I'm sure that Parker & Co are loving every day of this. Between our unions jacking around, and the uncertainty of the CWA vote they will save millions.

It's painfully obvious how they operate.

So are you going to pay the damages when they sue for a DFR?

Let them do their work. Its so easy for all of you to throw stones when you all have zero experience in combining two CBAs into one.

Didn't and haven't seen any of you step up.

Armchair negotiators that you all are.

700UW,
I would advise you tone it down. Many have years of experience regarding union representation. Many members have been through countless contract negotiations. Unfortunately, too many have been concessionary, due to the financial health of either carrier (bankruptcy negotiations). This may be why expectations are high this time around. You have a carrier projected to make billions. I have seen many on this forum who have been actively involved for years. I know there are some who have been willing to "step up", if duly elected by the membership. Stand down Brother.

And I don't care to as I never voted for them to represent me.

Ill tell you if anyone from DL or B6 is witnessing this abortion I hope they have the good sense to stay far away from these two unions.

a unions as big as twu/iam should be able to negotiate and file grievances and people who got fired. if the iam/twu cannot negotiate and run the every day business then they do not need to be in business . and you do not have to negotiate a cba to know what you expect and want in a contract. because neither union has done it well in a long time and if the iam comes back with a sellout contract like it did at  Boeing we are all in trouble. to you iam supporters  we do not need your spin are input we see what sorry contracts they have negotiated and we are sick of it

No disrespect but none of you complaining on here were EVER in negotiations, JCBA negotiations or preparation, I think you misunderstood my post.
