Sorry Bub, but my paychecks said "US Airways" going into this merger. The company I worked for then had B757's, B767's, A330's, AND we were slated to be a new recipient of the A350.

I remember certain westies bragging for years after the merger that their pay checks still said America West.
I now just feel kind of sorry for you.

I'm happy about that, you? I ask because I have a west friend(I'm being generous with the current state) that I think will be lost when this is all over. He is so consumed by it and so angry. There are a few westies that I don't like, but this guy hates most easties.

I'm happy about that, you? I ask because I have a west friend(I'm being generous with the current state) that I think will be lost when this is all over. He is so consumed by it and so angry. There are a few westies that I don't like, but this guy hates most easties.

Well let's see:
1. You walked away from a contract.
2. You voted in a union expressly to evade your commitment.
3. You/your union persecuted & prosecuted us by any and all means.
4. You/your union was caught with 10h, and thus GUILTY of DFR
5. You/your union cried like a byatch when they were informed that they must champion the Nicolau seniority list.
6. You/your NEW committee ridiculously argued in favor of an argument OPPOSITE of what they CRIED about in 2007-8.
7. You/your union spent 10 MILLION + of dues money and forced us to defend ourselves (and still does) out of our own pocket.

Mad? Why not. Eaten up. Nope. I'm going to place my bid EXACTLY where the new seniority list allows. I look forward to carving out new friendships where posdible, and putting up a silent "talk to the hand" to those that wish to remain iceholes.

One more quip:  It seems that you westicles have been ecstatic about the USAirways brand and airline becoming defunct.  Now, suddenly, you can't hide your enthusiastic embrace of USAirways and its widebody fleet.   What hypocrites!

Those things you directly attribute to me- I didn't do a single one. And as far as " My" union goes, it was your Union too. As a matter of fact, it was more your own Union as I didn't vote for it, I never held an office, was a rep or served on a committee. Unlike you who was a rep at the end. Someone on the inside with a vote. And with that you sold your soul and did not exactly what you'd complained about the east doing but conspiring to trick f the MOU. You have no integrity.

Enjoy the rest of your career in PHL. I doubt you'll make many friends.
