Is this a case of overnight vandalism?

Flight earlier this week on a 321, seated in row 8 I could see all 4 of these removed from the entry area and first class bulkheads, leaving only a rectangle shape of some putty or other adhesive.

???

Are you talking about the pin & flag that operates the locking mechanism when the arming lever is in the disarmed mode? Because those were eliminated to align with US Air door procedure, as wacky and as unsafe as it sounds.

I think he means the logo plates on the bulkhead dividers. The new A321's were being delivered/put in service without them.
Cheers.

Yes, PullUp correctly identified what i'm talking about.

Looked quite "tacky"..

The flags have been missing on Many aircraft and taken as souvenirs ..... It looks bad and people should respect that this isn't their property. I heard one person was caught in the act...

What flags.

If I have it correctly, what is being removed are not "flags" per se, but a metallic depiction of the "flag logo" of US Airways.  The bulkheads are covered in a carpet-like cloth, and embedded in that are gray, metallic pieces in the shape of the logo.  If those metallic pieces are removed, the "scar" left is probably fairly unattractive.

Yep, saw that happen when my first airline was taken over and rebranded... Anything with the old logo on it grew legs.
