What's new

aa would never do this would they?

Not until after they had formed an executive committee consisting of eighteen representatives fom three departments, and scheduled 47 2 hour meetings over a twelve month period in 14 different cities and....

never mind...

Too funny! Rather like the old days when a single electric power company had a monopoly in a given city-like Houston Lighting and Power (HL&P, aka Houston Looting and Pillage) in Houston, TX. In those days their attitude was "if you don't like our service, go buy some candles and cook on a wood stove. We don't care." AT&T's philosophy was "if you don't like our service, we suggest building a fire and using smoke signals."

If this new AA commercial had been directed at employees and said "We are now the world's largest. We can do anything we want to. Bonusses to executives. Oh, and all employee pay will be cut by 10% on the 1st of next month. Take Pride in the new American," then I would really believe it.
