Source: SPEEA Midwest director Bob Brewer, on the union's rejection of a three-year contract for workers in Boeing's Wichita plant. According to the union -- which represents 802 employees at the plant -- the vote tally showed 71 percent of the voting members cast ballots to reject the offer. However, Brewer said he was optimistic a compromise agreement would soon be reached.
