(CNN) -- An Air France Airbus 380 clipped a smaller plane while taxiing to the runway for takeoff from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, according to CNN's Jim Bittermann, who was on the Air France flight headed to Paris.

Bittermann said that he felt a slight rumble -- akin to hitting a patch of rough pavement-- as his plane was moving on the ground Monday at about 8:15 p.m.

Got to be pilot error on the DL commuter plane. Can you imagine the heart-in-the-throat moment for the pilots and air traffic controllers?

Here's a link for the video.

Seems that the driver of the A380 was going a bit fast.

the video link is not currently working... perhaps because it is generating so much attention.... any other working links?
.
How is the judgment made that the Comair pilots were at fault? I haven't read anything assigning blame to either side and without the video or pics it makes it hard to assess... also not sure where at JFK this occurred and if there really is enough space for another aircraft to safely pass a 380 on the opposite taxiway... but thought JFK was reworked specifically for that purpose.

....
found a youtube link of an eyewitness that works...
it appears the Comair jet was stopped, apparently waiting to get into the RJ parking area when the 380 taxied by...

what a brutal ride esp. for the Comair pax who got spinned around....

Speaking of hosting a party and having all the visitors lose their composure, DL really needs to teach its friends how to get along. :)
