Does anyone here know how many DC-9's AirTran will have left by January 2003? I also heard if the sun gets the tail just right, you can still see ValuJet font, but I have never seen this myself, very interesting.

By January 2003 it should be 15 or 16. Gone completely by December 2003 but I bet sooner. Looks like 23 more 717s next year. How fast the DC-9s go will depend on the economy and the price of fuel. I've never seen hidden ValuJet marking but never really looked.
