I was wondering if anyone had the payscale or knowledge of what Airtan is paying for ramp agents?

Sorry for the delay.... depending on location... Ball park is $8.50 to 9.00 an hour.

Correction... just spoke to someone from recruiting and it's $9.50 an hour. Although with Jet-A going thru the clouds, this is likely to be adjusted.... very soon. 😛h34r:

No ..not yet,but the IAM is trying to organize/sign cards....

IIRC, It was tried last year or the year before, for the second time, and voted down. In this time of very high fuel costs, pending paycuts and furloughs, this would not be a good thing, IMHO. I seriously doubt the CSR/Ramp would gain much, if anything. When you have concessions looming, it's not the best time to ask for a raise. Of course, the IAM will spin it differently, like they can 'Save the World'! The way I see it, this entire Industry is in for a tough ride except WN. BTW, what do their Ramp Agents start at?
