You should be worried about your airline getting absorb, than another airline merger approval.

Merger with Hawaiian/Alaska means, they'll kick Southwest off the Hawaiian Island.

Get ready for layoffs.

Low budget low cost LLC should never do ETOPS flight. Safety and inhumane to not serve a hot meal for 5+ hour trips. Not to mention, hiring regional pilots with less than 300 hours of flight experience is a risk.

And now they will move onto the next step of integrating the unions. By now the industry knows hands down that AMFA should prevail as the representational union for the merged Alaska and Hawaiian airlines. AMFA has experienced a snow-ball effect in the past 2-3 years with a many airlines calling on AMFA for representation after seeing record contracts produced in the industry by AMFA at several different carriers. AMFA has more than tripled the number of airlines it represents lately and continues to grow and expand even larger as we speak including entering into the Canada airline and aviation market too. Aircraft Mechanics industry wide have been watching AMFA within the industry and know why IS the leader in Aircraft Mechanic and Class representation, period, hands down. AMFA is solely focused on mechanics and not 12 other groups all within the same union where the mechanics are NOT fully focused on like AMFA does. Do your own homework when voting on your representational entity and go with the one that will 100% focus on the mechanics groups and not be overloaded by other non-essential or even remotely related.
