Alpa Leads The Way Again!

On a personal note , and not sure its been said recently . I for one wanna thank alpa for having the forethought and intelligence of sitting down and talking to this management. A few weeks back asking Dave to leave and then putting emotion aside, decides to sit down as professionals and talk. As a member of AFA and seeing other unions scoff, it is refreshing to see an union being professional. They along with everyone at our company has a lot to lose. They recognize this and have made the right choice to lead by example as they did in the last few go arounds. They have proven they are a PROFESSIONAL group with their members best interest at heart. From getting current members to help pay cobra benefits to discussing even further productivity cuts, alpa deserves the regonition of being a true professional union group and i hope other unions on our property will follow . There are two types here, leaders and followers. I for one along with most of our employee group thank them for being a true leader. I support u guys 100% and know you will do whats best for your group. For our other unions "brother and sisters" live, learn and follow. Learn what being professional are really about. Its one thing to have a degree or a skill. its another to call your self , "professional."

COMPLAINERS-those members that seem to look for reasons to complain, to be discontent, or to be ungrateful. Complaining is actually quarrelling with God. By complaining, we are saying that God has not treated us well and that we deserve better from Him. Griping is a grievous offense against a gracious God.

An angel. I would agree! However, whats your take on complainers? I mean you guys enjoy it so much , I thought id post some facts about it . Hey PIT your take? Your not trusting me? The trust ?the facts that i posted are from direct quotes. Ive taken it upon my self to call you guys out on your complaints and constant bashing you give to anyone who disagrees with you. I wonder what damage your doing to your fellow brothers and sisters that you so proudly invoke your mission for. Where are they all? I for one, hate to post on heare anymore, and I shocce very reluctantly to do so. I have been following these posts for quite some time, and I do upon occasion comment. I expect No one to accep0t me seriously or respond in anyway. I have been with this company a mere 11 years, I have borne the brunt of many. I feel like a no boday in this cmpany, even though I have given all of myself and all that I have day in an day out. I never know where I am going, IF Iam going, or when I will return.

I can Honestly say, from reading these posts and contributing, my meager amout, these last few months, that USflyboi has got to be the most (edited) person on these boards. And if, I am sent to the Cornfields for saying this. SO BE IT. I frankly am getting sick and tired of what I am seeing posted.

I am an AFA Pit F/A. I have not always been the most advocate of my Union. But I will say this, upon coming on these boards and learning what I have, I soley support MY UNION Today and those who speak for me.

My heart goes out to the IAM, CWA, and AFA for allthe folks who are dedicating their day to day lives for ALL of us to survive.

It sickens me when I come on these boards and read the #### that I do, from those who are so selfich and ignorant on others behalf.

I have really refrained from saying much lately, as whenver I do, MR> USflyboi has his RETORT which I find extremely ludicruous and juvinile. So Mr. Bill, if you want to sent me to the Cornfields. So be it. I can find better things to do with my time.

The people, who mostly post on this board have a passion and a love for what they do and what has transpired in our lives. It is painful, it is humbling and it is hypocratic. So we are ffaced with many issues and feelings, and thoughts.

I have cried on these boards, with what I have seen posted. I have laughed at what I have seen posted and I have gone to bed at night worrying and wondering at what I have seen posted.

BUT, I can and I will say this. The ones who express their real concern, their real love, and their real heart will always be around here.

After all, isn't this what this Forum is all about.?????

I love the ones I have met, I have a family here, near and dear to my heart, who seem to understand the pain and sorrow that we are going through right now.

I agree with you 100%!!!!!!!!! He is a piece of work, there are a few left who believe anything the company tells them. Eventually they will learn, repeating the same phrase many recently furloughed employees have said......"You mean they lied to us?????" as their ID's are collected......as they are escorted off the property.
