From the Dallas Morning News. 12-29-02.
American officials acknowledge that the company''s case for contract concessions will be hard to make. The airline has $10 billion in corporate assets and cash on hand to help it ride out the current economic downturn and isn''t in danger of filing for bankruptcy, analyst Ray Neidl of Blaylock & Partners said in a Dec. 24 research note.

.....and the more of that 10 Billion they can KEEP their hands on, the bigger the bonuses and incentives executive will pay to themselves.[BR][BR]Employees should agree to NO give backs....period.
