Starting on Sunday,American said the fee for checked baggage on its U.S. domestic flights weighing over 70 pounds (31.75 kg) will be reduced from $80 to $50 while a new fee of $25 will be charged on checked baggage weighing between 50 pounds (22.7 kg) and 70 pounds.
Will not be a big deal on the average domestic flight. For flights in and out of Miami to the Islands and Central and South America it will be alot of dollars.
