Read the story, BOS was ranked 8th worst.

CLT ranked 2nd best overall.

Need to get online fast? Travel through Charlotte, which got top marks for Wi-Fi. It also ranked first for baggage handling, curbside check-in, and staff communication. The North Carolina hub is so well rounded that it scored highly for its convenient location (ranking third) as well as for airport lounges and the overall check-in and security process (second). If anything, it could use some improvement in the terminal cleanliness (fifth) department.

I am not surprised that La Guardia is the worst. If you think the former US terminal is bad, try going out from the CTB early on a Monday morning-I don't think they have enough ROOM for the lines.......

What's wrong with PHX, other than having two A concourses and two B concourses?

LAX certainly earned its spot, with US's T-1 being the worst terminal there. What a depressing dump.

AA T4 is much better, like I said USAir has the worst facilities at the airports they serve. CO and DL have better gates at BOS in Terminal A, the AA section of Terminal B has been renovated recently. USAir doesn't spend money improving facilities, they don't even have gate information displays that show upgrade and standby lists.

You are right. T1 which was built primarily for PSA and occupied by America West opened in January 1984, is sorely in need of an upgrade. The TV monitors displaying the flights for USAirways and Southwest, the current tenants, are the originals.

Save for a few new restaurants and upgraded USAirways Club, the terminal is mostly unchanged. It's the same or worse below decks where only the employees go.

Having said that, the station personnel and the TSA do a pretty good job moving a lot of people through the terminal on a daily basis.

Look at the bright side, when the AA/US merger takes place, everything will be over at T4 with American. Much roomier and updated for all concerned. Looking forward to it!
