I was planning a HNL-GUM round-trip on CO last year as a non-rev. My airline, AA, has interline agreements with CO, so I made plans. When it came time to buy tickets, it turns out AA does not have an agreement with the operating carrier, Continental Micronesia. OOps. It turns out that Micronesia flights are flown with mainline equipment, and mainline crews. I thought interline agreements were supposed to be reciprocal. Whats up with that? Is CO being disingenuous?

I worked at AirMike on Guam from Sep 2001 through Nov 2005. I can tell you from experience that flight is almost impossible for OAL non-revs to get on. It runs 85-90% full of revenue pax all the time, then factor in the management employees going back and forth and there are rarely any open seats on this flight.

If you're based on the mainland and still want to make the trip, your best bet would be through Japan and I would try to go through NGO if at all possible. At the moment, AirMike has 4 daily flights btwn GUM and NRT, but US flights can only connect to 2 or at most 3 of them. AA, UA, and NW operate into term 1 at NRT, while CO and CS(AirMike) are in term 2.
DL is also in term 2.
