What's new

And Now 5.1 Billion in Unrestricted Cash

Well good! Now there will be plenty of money available to pay the executive bonusses earned by screwing over the employees. I was worried the bonusses might have to be reduced by a million or so.

Hard to abrogate with numbers like this. Now we know why AA is upping the anty with the APA.

You fail to grasp the concept, they went into Chapter 11, what they currently have on hand doesnt matter, the POR is the plan of business when they emerge, and that is what the abrogation has to do.

I respect your contribution here on our AA forum. However I would point out that not every item you have brought forth has happened as it was laid out. While it is a bankruptcy, subtle difference have caused some deviation from the normal process experienced by the other carriers. Thanks again.

700UW is correct. The level of unrestricted cash on hand has nothing to do with the decision to abrogate.

The reason that AA has upped the "ante" with the APA is that AA really doesn't want 8,000 pissed off pilots and would rather reach a negotiated agreement.

Yeah, only having 3999 pissed off will make a huge difference.
