Atheists and diversity

The male female ratio is interesting. I wonder if it had to do with the issues of self identification. Developed vs nondeveloped is not surprising at all.

I would not be surprised if there are more people that are either atheist or agnostic. I wonder if less people admit it due to the stigmas attached to it.

I am curious about this movement. I think that is a bunch of hog wash. Most/all that I know have a river at their beliefs on their own with out any assistance like I did.

I think the most relevant part of the article was the last paragraph. I think many people do not know the difference between an atheist and an agnostic. Even people who self identify as one or the other are sometimes confused. I would not be surprised if that were to cause some discrepancy with this survey as well as others.
 
Absolutely NOTHING surprising about this report.   7 out of 10 countries are in europe, and hugely white.  (like in the highly developed countries of Norway/Sweden/Denmark/Holland/Germany/Iceland/Belgium).......NO surprise at all.
Helll, it seems like the surveys of those very educated countries have been around forever.
The flip side of this is people in countries still living in grass huts/mud huts etc. just may be very susceptable to the first christian / muslim missionary who comes strolling along !   Keep the GD missionaries OUT, and folks have a way of figuring things out for them selves.   Best historical show on TV at this point in time,........The VIKINGS, points this out Very Well.
I've always given the Jews a lot of credit for not going around trying to 'SIGN people Up', unlike the christians or muslims.
The fact that those two groups i just mentioned...HAVE to have a GIANT sales force, speaks volumes about thier authenticity  !!!!!!

Mostly white? Is that really a shock? White males are nerds who believe that they will make a difference by seeking acceptance among those that are different from their beliefs. Most whites think that they are intellectually superior. These specimens must hide their racial tendencies towards all that they perceive are their inferiors by destroying the beliefs of a superior being that overshadows their self intelligence of themselves.

The white boys that perceive themselves as superior intellectuals are just wannabes who think they are given a "special" card that makes the rest of us look stupid.
 
Liberal Activist Threatens to Rob Christian-Owned Pizza Shop Over Religious Freedom Act
The Founder & Executive Director of Indiana-based Red Giant Union has allegedly threatened to rob a Christian-owned pizza shop in Indiana because he despises their Christian religion.
Austin Kasso posted on his own Facebook page that he is disgusted that Memories Pizza of Walkerton, Indiana, has raised over $100,000 on a GoFundMe.com page set up to help the restaurant get over the attacks on it fostered by the militant gay lobby and the media.
 
But Kasso–the founder of Red Giant, a non-GMO food activist group–went further to vent his rage at Christians by going to the GoFundMe page to warn the pizza shop that he intended to rob them of the $100,000.

Kasso, though, came out with the lame excuse that his account was hacked.
But this claim doesn’t pass the smell test. Since he posted in multiple social media platforms that the GoFundMe page disgusted him, it is highly unlikely that someone hacked his account to post something that he would agree with anyway!!
No, what is more likely is that Kasso did make the threat on the GoFundMe page and is now making up the “I was hacked” story to try to escape responsibility for his hate speech.
