It was reported the guy the Ambassador was meeting with prior to the attack, was involved with shipment of arms to Syria through Tripoli. If true, that in itself would be a violation of int'l arms laws and be the reason it went to hell in a hand basket.....
Petraeus is supposed to sing very soon....I'm sure he has no axe to grind.
