Singapore Airlines is tops with business travelers, according to the 17th annual Business Traveler Awards.

Business Traveler magazine asked a sampling of its 60,000 subscribers to choose the best in the business travel industry, including their favorite airlines, airports and hotels around the world.

As it has in each of the magazine's previous 16 polls, Singapore Airlines was named the world's best overall airline. United Airlines was chosen as the best airline for North American travel.

Business travelers considered JetBlue Airways to be the best among low-cost airlines.

The magazine's readers named Singapore Changi Airport the world's best airport, and Denver International Airport was honored as North America's best airport.

Readers chose The Ritz Carlton as the world's best hotel chain, and Marriott was honored as North America's best hotel chain.

The poll found that business travelers said they enjoyed the $19,250 Hastens beds found in some of the luxury suites at the Peninsula Chicago and named it the best individual hotel.
