I am a furloughed mainline flight attendant that now works at PSA. I heard that all the furloughs were going to get canned or stapled to the bottom of the list. Does anyone have any info on this???????

I seriously doubt that as the company and union would open themselves up for a new round of lawsuits.

That is not true. There will be no staple. You must have been speaking to a AA employee. U and AWA have the same unions. They are in talks now and they will be doing an intergration of the two seniorities. Who did you hear that from furlouednow psa? I have been at MAA for over a year so we pretty much are in the loop and know what is going on. Maybe you heard about the MAA f/a possibly getting furloughed again after they start giving the EMB-170's over to Republic...

I have heard it from alot of are jet for job guys. I only posted this to get info its not something I know for a fact. By the track record of this company its a good chance it could be true.

I think I am asking for information on this topic. Like everything posted on here is a fact??? I was hoping for a better response from u since u seem to keep up with a lot of flight attendant news not a rude one

AFA Merger Policy is date of hire regardless of furlough status unless something changes. It's the senior people they want to get rid of, not the juniors who are frozen at thier active time (or should I say active Boeing and Airbus time), which makes them senior to HP F/As but significantly lower paid when they return.

There will be furloughs though, with 60 aircraft returned, and the 170/190 family leaving the fleet. Division or not, 200 potential EMBs was over 2000 mainline F/A jobs that will now be gone. 2000 is the number of US furloughees, and almost the number of total HP F/As.

I think it was your post title that attracted unfriendly responses... a question mark would have made a big difference. 400 of our F/As are getting furloughed for the second time, and they see this thread title....
