Aug7th is the scheduled Orientation for Cheerleaders in CLT to address the ISSUES hampering US. I can't wait to see who fires the FIRST SHOT :lol: if Sherri was distraught over the Town Hall Session in May wait till she see's what some have planned at THIS pow-wow. Trust me, it will not be a Camp David Peace Summit. 😛 BANG!

Pretty much so....or more like a Window Dressing for State Rooms on the TITANIC. Hello.......they're CLUELESS, you are still going to hit the Iceberg! We have the Cheerleaders......now what about The Band? :lol:
 
If this is going to be better than the 7/18 meeting on the hub...I want to buy a copy... :up:
 
This is a meeting for selected FA's and "a meeting" is what it is. I don't know for certain what's going to happen at this meeting, but I will be there and will be happy 😀 to pass on information to you. It is the FA Focus meeting that gives us the (FA's) the chance to push the company to give us our tools to do our jobs, thats about all I know. :up:


I'm not a cheerleader so if thats whats happening, then I will be out of the meetings from here on out.

To help me with this, :blink: what FA issues are most important to you when performing your job? Is it..not enough BOB meals? The manifest? The gate agents? Procedures? Share and we'll see what we can do. 🙂
 
I would love to have an honest answer with out all the BS as to why we don't have glassware on the east. I would like more BOB meals, better wine, a clean airplane, a res system that works properly after four months, proper supplies, hangers for your coats let alone a closet on some a/c, standard serving procedures across the board. No more east or west service guidelines. How about better cups. Yeah I know they are great but I'm looking at cost here. A. the cups don't fit in some a/c baskets B. they are too big for a quick flight which in turn uses more of your beverages adding cost. I'm surprised we don't have the mini soda cans yet the way we cut back around here. Back to the glassware, ask where it will go on the airbus. I like EMBFA just did an airbus trip and there is NOWHERE to put glassware on an east galley. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Well I guess I just answered my glassware question right there. Oh as for standards, why no first class galley curtain for our east a/c. I feel so bad for the folks in row 1 expecially 1C. I heard on the PHX crew news session that they have people on a task force that go around PHX and are headed to LAS that check on supplies on board. Well I sure as hell don't know where they are in PHL. I hope they actually listen and make changes based on what management hears at this "meeting". 🙄
 
Shucks, did I miss out on something or what........don't tell me I'm behind on THEIR EXCUSES 😛
It was in our CBS crew mail in June. A memo went out inviting F/As to "apply" to be part of the F/A focus group. You had to send in 5 ideas/concerns that you think are relevant to our jobs and how the company could improve.
I didn't apply, I don't have enough time on my hands to DH to meet in CLT and spend weeks telling them what they should already know. Plus isn't that why they hired the TWO consulting firms????

EXACTLY! ! ! ! While I'm glad they want to hear our input I'm sure the majority of those in attendance will be CLT based. Though we'd all like to voice our opinion about one thing or another (hell many things) we all can't take a day off on our personal time to attend. I will say that it's nice that they at least PRETEND to want to know what we feel is important. 😉
 
Why Can't We Email Each Other Through CBS? That's a Question I Have Always Wondered About!! :unsure:

I know one F/A from PIT who's going. BTW, you should have applied. From what I understand it's POS space to/from CLT plus 5:00 hours pay and credit. It's not done on your free time, it's treated like special projects. I am hoping that after the first meeting they will let us know who all is involved so that we can make our opinions known to those individuals who will then carry our thoughts back to the next discussion. That might be make too much sense though.
