It's not that bad. Starting 21 November, Alaska will be flying MIA-SEA with 73Gs. That's 6.5 hours in a 737.

I've seen some improvements in the schedule for the next 6 months or so

1. CLE-SEA- June 2003
2. CLE-PHL- one flight upgraded to 737
3. CLE-PBI- December 2002
4. CLE-SJU returns daily November, I think
5. CLE-FLL two daily
6. CLE-LAS 757 returns on the first flight
7. CLE-RSW two daily
8. CLE-MCO 4 flights/ not everyday
9 CLE-TPA 3 daily
On the down side CLE-LGW goes to 4x per week for the winter. BRING BACK CLE-SAN!!

Aside from the 1 upgraded CLE-PHL flight, is there anything new here? CLE-SEA has been a seasonal service for years (at least it's not on a 737-300 like the last time I flew it), Florida always gets more service from CLE in the winter, and the 757 comes back CLE-LAS. As a customer, it's nice to have more service, but it's really just the usual winter sked! CLE-TUS on an RJ? No way!

TUS-CLE may just work with the ERJ-145XLR. Now is the time to try it, Delta is dropping one of it's two CVG-TUS flights, and is looking at dropping CVG-TUS all together next spring. The Long range ERJ-145 may work out just fine on a long thin route like this.
