DALLAS, June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- It's going to be a sweet week
for Customers of Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV). June 18 marks the 35th
Anniversary of Southwest's first flight, and the entire week will be

across the country.
Brach's Confections, Inc., the 102-year-old Dallas-based candy maker,
is helping celebrate 35 years of LUV by donating free candy for all
Customers flying Southwest throughout the week of June 18 to June 24.
Customers will receive Brach's handmade peppermint nougats with heart
centers.
Singer, songwriter, and country music's only contemporary piano man,
Phil Vassar, will be entertaining Customers with a four-airport tour of
Nashville, Austin, Houston, and Dallas. The tour takes place on June 16,
and Vassar will be performing live at Southwest gates in each of the four
cities. Vassar made his name in Nashville as a songwriter for country music
stars including Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, and Alan Jackson.
