There's an elephant in global warming's living room that few in the mainstream media want to talk about: the creators of the carbon credit scheme are the ones cashing in on it.

The two cherub like choirboys singing loudest in the Holier Than Thou Global Warming Cathedral are Maurice Strong and Al Gore.

This duo has done more than anyone else to advance the alarmism of man-made global warming.

With little media monitoring, both Strong and Gore are cashing in on the lucrative cottage industry known as man-made global warming.

The guys as phony as a three dollar bill....

Sorry thing is all who blindly except his mantra.

The Book says something about his kind. 😉

So money and greed are motivating people to do things??? What a concept! Just imagine where the US would be if our American history was built on people that are motivated by increasing their value.

Come on... this is capitalism at its best! Throughout US history a greedy person (or persons) was motivated by money and in return for their greed, gave something that benefitted the country beyond the detriment caused by the individual's greed! Railroads, Steel, and technology industries come to mind.

The Chicago Climate Exchange can be the same type of thing. As posted in another thread months ago.. the CCE can be a good thing because:

1) The emission-reduction commitment required by participants is stronger than current developing US laws.

2) It is completely voluntary, yet more than 250 participants have joined... such as Ford, Dupont, and Motorola.

3) It provides monetary incentives (greed) to decrease pollutants.

4) It reduces the potential for overbearing governmental intrusion.

5) It allows US companies to compete in European markets that have strict environmental standards.

6) Companies will likely reduce pollutant emissions by making operations more efficient, thereby reducing pollutants and increasing profits (greed).

7) It is self-regulated by the respectable NASD. They will audit annual emissions and help to ensure that fraud and manipulation does not occur.

I am not sure which side of the fence I fall on in regards to global warming (not enough evidence either way for me); but I proscribe to the better safe than sorry method here, and CCE is a great tool for that.

In a world that is instant everything with most people putting more credence into Harry Potter than Jesus it's no wonder exploiting them with carbon credits while preaching doom and gloom is an easy way to become the next Bill Gates.

The planet's health is the least of this world's problems. The planet is alive alright and it's run by the master of deception who is a doing a great job, his name, well anyone with even a hint of spiritual knowledge knows exactly his nature and name, unless of course you happen to frequent these boards that are filled with lost confused souls who believe they are intelligent and have it all figured out.

The master is exactly that, a master at making buffoons out of the average Joe as is apparent everywhere including an internet site about aviation with people using cartoon characters to intensify and identify themselves.

If what’s at stake wasn’t so severe it would be entertainment reading, but it’s really just sad.

St. Pat's was good in Chicago... I suppose you enjoyed it as well, right?

I had a most enjoyable Saint Paddy's Day and Night..

drank enough Irish Ale to list a battleship... ^_^

By the way... if I add certain smilies to everything, will my arguments become more credible?

perhaps not, must you be so Anal? 😱  <_< 😉

The Chicago Climate Exchange has been such a hit, many are considering a similar system to help solve the lack of water problem in the west.

Mr. Sandor, who is chairman of the parent company, exudes unshakable confidence in the exchange's prospects. He's already talking about expanding the concept to help solve a water shortage in the West and protect endangered animals.

Article after the jump.
