The Company is only interested in imposing a 5% pay deferral if there is a war with Iraq or terrorist attack that affects our industry. The Company wants additional modifications to the Medical Benefits package. This includes substantial increases in contributions between 2006-2008 as well co-pay and prescription fees. Then comes what the Company calls work productivity modifications; you and I would call outsourcing. The big issue involves allowing Skycaps to issue boarding passes at curbside. While CWA views this as an attempt to take work from our group the Company is threading the ultimate (liquidation) if we do not concede.
