Denver Fares

Why the heck are fares in and out of DIA so damn expensive?
I just moved here from Chicago and am in SHOCK.
Why is it 400 RT to go from Denver to Vegas (1,000 miles) but you can fly from Chicago to Vegas RT right now for about 158? It's 3x the mileage!!

It's called lack of competition. United controls DIA even more than AA controls DFW. Pray for the continued growth and success of Frontier.
