I think Bush meant well but surrounded him self with people who told him what he wanted to hear, not what he needed to hear. The more I read about Cheney, I think he was a puppet master. He pulled all the strings with little or no regard for the consequences. In 1994 I believe he gave an interview (it's on line) where he was asked about H Bush going into Iraq and unseating Sadam. Cheney said it would be a clusterphuck and a royally bad idea. I wonder what made him change his mind. I wonder if his links to Halliburton had anything to do with it. He had Iraq pegged in 1994 and failed to follow his own prediction. Something has to be behind that change of mind. It sure as hell was not logic.

I remember the heart transplant thing. As much as I would love to throw his sorry butt under the bus on that one I would need something more than just coincidence. The organ transplant system does not operate that way so far as I know. Organs do not have a long period of viability. You have to find a match quick and it needs to be perfect.

We would never find the truth regardless of what actually transpired.

On those thoughts, we're in complete agreement. I'll further note that, much like Dubya Shrub, who was at least supposedly trained and ready, yet willfully stayed 10,000 miles away from combat, well...5 deferments removes even the tiniest chance that Cheney ever HAD any "balls"...period! Perhaps that was a good thing, since his later proved "skill" with even a shotgun indicates that he might well have been a threat, not to the enemy, but our own troops! As for that POS's being evil; I'll never forget when I first heard the joke about his no longer needing government transportation, since any who needed to just drew a pentagram and summoned him. 😉

Having said all that...well...it's likely best for you to not even mention that spineless and utterly pathetic, strutting little pimp that's infesting the Oval "orrifice" these days...and who, much like draft-dodging-chickensh-t slick willie, so likes to wear USAF flight jackets and "salute" like little Brownie Scouts.
