The F/A & Pilot Call Distribution Network is down. It says the system is overloaded and to call later. This means no F/A is able to get through to scheduling or respond to pages. Lets hope it's an easy fix and fast. No one better get a "No Contact" during this. But talked to scheduling and everything has come to a halt.

All of OCC is down, and that has effected all phone communications in crew sched department. The local AFA President of PIT has been told by management that these lines should be fixed between midnight and 4:30 am.

AFA PIT president left a message for Labor Relations to let them know the entire system is down and to make sure that inflight holds no employee for any "no sign in" or "no contacts" for today, Oct. 6. For those reserves who are trying to answer pages, your union leadership will take care of this tomorrow if you are unable to have this cleared by your supervisor. Please make every attempt to contact crew sched supervisors. Those lines are open and are the only lines open in OCC. A PIT e-line has just gone out to the members of PIT and if you are on that e-line, the crew sched supervisors number is included.

Reserves who are trying to get through, keep trying. and block holders who have till 7:30 to sign in for your tomorrow trips, keep trying beyond the 7:30 through the crew sched supervisors' lines that are open.

The union leadership will continue make attempts to reach the scheduling dept. Inflight is closed for the evening, and the voice responses of the supervisors and managers can not accept calls. PM me and I will give you the crew sched. supervisors phone number.

Question - If they can't process bags in PHL or keep a basic operation like F/A phone lines operational. How on earth are they going to manage a 3rd part mtc contract in freaking Mobile AL?
They can't find their "buttocks" with both hands, so they will not. All they need is a target for the same old blame game.

As AOG-n-it has told you, this will only add to our logistics nightmare. The amount of robbing and cannabilizing is amazing. More operational snafus sure to follow. This place is such a cluster *%#$, its not even funny. No leadership, no teamwork, no inspiration for the troops. What a shame.

Thanks for your business, Bob.
