VF 5 Awards Update

441 Flight Attendants were awarded Voluntary Furlough
with the following breakdown:
4-month duration-135*
6-month duration-243
12-month duration-30
18-month duration-2
24-month duration-5
30-month duration-22
* The 4-month leave was limited to 135. This number
was based on the company''s projected staffing needs
October 1, 2003. The most junior awarded has a seniority
date of 3/3/85.

Voluntary Separation (VSIP) Clarification From Inflight

This note is directed at those flight attendants who
are interested in
participating in the VSIP 2003 and have completed at
least five years
of Company service but less than ten years of Company
service as of
May 7, 2003 (i.e. original hire dates between May 8,
1993 and May 8, 1998.)
All other may disregard this notice.

Displacement Update
=====================
There will be no displacments in May as previously
stated. We do expect displacements June 1, 2003. The
June transfer list closes at noon on April 16, 2003.
There are approximately 20 vacancys in Boston, 60 in
New York, 70 in Philadelphia and 45 in Washington.
Once the transfers have been awarded we will know who
will be displaced. The company expects to have the
displacement list available April 17, 2003.
