F/A Layovers

On a recent trip I was talking with a Jetblue employee. The subject of layovers came up. To my amazment I was told that flight attendant were not provided hotels. I am hoping that a Jetblue flight attendant can clear this up. I really can''t believe they would be made to pay for their own rooms.
