FAA increasing its inspections to be expected.

Also, Arpey not getting a golden parachute because of voluntarily resigning.....I would like to believe this, but who knows for sure...

increased inspections are typical for carriers in BK.

the followign statement from the article is inaccurate..." With more than $4 billion in the bank, American said it intends to keep paying its bills, but must lower labor costs to be competitive."
AA stopped paying a lot of bills yesterday and will negotiate which bills it wants to continue to pay and at what rates... that is the process of BK. It is troubling to see AA fail to acknowledge that it intends to take a whack out of a lot of other areas of costs in the business while focusing on what it needs from employees.

AA is now classified as "An Airline in distress".
Stepped up inspections or increased oversight is normal for this situation.
