FAA knew of possible problems before Colgan 3407 crash in Buffalo

An FAA inspector was pulled off the airline by the FAA after he wrote up the airline. I know of two other FAA inspectors who were fired by the FAA after their respective airlines complained to the FAA about them. In both cases, an airliner crashed as a result.
