Evidently the FAA tower here at the airport has been evacuated, all operations ceasing due to a fire inside. Radio is going nuts.

Tower's still evacuated, looks like atl is clearing landing. I don't see any smoke though. The radio chatter is entertaining though.

Ok, I bet someone smoked in the toilet, there is no smoke and now the chatter is we will back up momentarily.
Good thing no one was hurt. The way the original fuss started you'd have thought the whole thing was engulfed.

Someone must have microwaved their snack sized popcorn on regular sized setting. That always makes my fire detector go off.

dont even get me started on SoBig. That turd left 33 minutes late due to being oversold by like 49284294823048302439208 with no way to get anyone anywhere. Sent invols CLTLGA, bussed them to EWR, then hotel, then EWR to FRA F class on Air India. Whattt?? Then FRA to HAM.
Not that I dont know. I'm just a gnome that doesn't work at an airline.
I'm telling you, there is no smoke coming out of that tower. I think they got bored and decided to create some drama.

The way we heard it was there was fire and smoke in the elevator in the tower and it messed us up inbound from BOS.
I guess at some point someone figured out to use the stairway.....duh.....
Blew our trip to hell.
