Fake Jet Engine Parts

Back around 2000, a mechanic was overhauling a component, of which was one he routinely repaired, and ordered parts and noticed the part from stock looked suspiciously like one he had previously scrapped. After checking S/N's and records.....it was a part that he had previously scrapped. Apparently the person who had a contract to take our scrap metal was selling off our scrapped parts. After that we had to physically make the parts unusable by cutting or drilling.

I believe that Dell.
Hopefully this fake parts issue will end very quickly.
