Farewell Awa Proshow

that was awesome. looks like u guys at us/west know how to have a good time.

Great job on the video....I know itmay not mean a lot to the old US Airways people, but hopefully those of you from other carriers that have departed can understand what it's like to lose your airlines identity.

I hope you will take the time to view this......

I'm all choked up and need to stop crying so that I can see what I'm typing...

THAT was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!!!

I've been so excited about the merger I haven't "grieved" -- this realy helps.

And, OMG, Dolly Parton and "I Will Always Love You" -- talk about emotional !!! And "Those Were the Days My Friends", that brought a smile and LOTS of memories pouring out...

Excellent job. In more ways than one! Thank you.

P.S. Is there any way I could possibly download this and save it to a DVD or CD for posterity?

I've tried several times to download and run the program to no avail. Any suggestions?

Very well done, classy and awesome!

What program did you use to put the show together?

Okay...that was touching since I grew up working for HP. (sniff)

One thing I've noticed though, the new US Airways paintjob looks like one of the old America West paintjob!
Did anyone catch that in the video?? I took a snapshot of both aircrafts.

The top one is the new US Airways paintjob and the bottom is one of the old HP paintjob, but then again I don't remember this paintjob since it looks like one of those theme planes. Is the bottom one a 737?

Can anyone from HP identify this aircraft? year etc?

Here you go........ that picture was taken in August of 1987....it is a 737-2 and it was taken in SAN......it was a recent aquisition from Presidential Airways. Hmmm.......it must be hard to come up with a new paint job.....I guess.

Very nice presentation, thank you.

What was going on with the aircraft with all the signatures on it?

Thanks,

Jay
