Doesn't seem sort of fair or kind of balanced:

Wayne Simmons, recurring Fox News guest, charged with lying about CIA ties.

Wayne Simmons, a recurring guest on Fox News who claimed to have 27 years of experience with the CIA, was arrested Thursday after being indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that he lied about his service.

In his appearances on Fox, Simmons regularly made extreme and factually dubious statements pertaining to terrorism and national security. Just this January, he claimed there were "at least 19 paramilitary Muslim training facilities in the United States."

Simmons also claimed that waterboarding was not torture and accused President Obama of being a novice who lacked spine -- claims that were given greater credence because of the perception that he was a veteran CIA paramilitary officer.

He was under investigation for however long, and until today,it became public. It would be safe to say his cred's were legit until recently.

Hatu,
They can't help themselves.  If it isn't Faux, it was Bush / Cheney,  Aluminum Tubes, Outing CIA Agent Valarie Plame, you name it.
Watching Faux is the equivalent of watching Preacher CREFLO DOLLAR, and Then sending in Money !

Sounds more like a Wayne Simmons issue to me.

MSNBC & CNN aren't always that much better, and that's coming from someone on the far left.

Plenty of other places to still get actual news, and the unbiased reporting of the same...

I don't think anyone is questioning ratings. Your link certainly validates Jim's point about the comfort confirmation bias can bring, though...

Whatever you need to tell yourself......

Kev, I call it the "yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" approach to the news (and reality).  It's true because I want it to be true.  I've got to blame somebody for the mess that is my life, and Rush Limbaugh and his ilk (i.e., everyone at FAUX News) blame the people I want to blame--the poor, minorities, etc.

The ratings only prove that far more conservaties watch fox than libetals watch MSNBC or CNN or any othet alphabet news.

I get my news from th web pn a variety of sites. The fact that conservatives, especially the oder ones, get their news from FOX is not surprising.

You know fox is winning as they mop the floor with all the others and liberals heads explode on a daily basis.

A large part of those ratings come from liberals watching from their closets with the drapes drawn.
