I am very surprised that there was no mention of the 2ft snow storm that occurred in PHL on February 16-17. That storm reaked havoc system wide. I don''t believe I have seen a loss assessment of that storm.

What was the daily loss 9/11-9/13/01? In effect, US's entire network shutdown during that storm, so I would think the loss estimates (remembering though the cuts made in Chapter 11) would be somewhat similar. I thought I read somewhere losses of $15 mil/day during severe winter storms like that.

That makes sense. Maybe it''s not as grim as it initially sounded. Also, I know that bookings are down, but the planes (at least on the flights I''ve been on recently) have been good loads.
