i'm looking for a good flight training school
i live in orange county, california
do u guys know any good flight schools around this area?
it doesn't have to be in orange county as long as it is in the southern cal.

I'm currently a student at Sunrise Aviation (www.sunriseaviation.com). They are not the cheapest place to be in, but if you really want to learn then it's the place to be. Most of their instructors are aerobatics instructors, and they are the only place I know of that requires you to do spin training (as opposed to only having theoretical knowledge) before your first solo.

I've met folks at Benbow Aviation (Torrance) and Justice Aviation (Santa Monica), and both have top notch training. I have flown with the folks at Justice, though. They're excellent.

That is, unless, you're looking for a high-powered flight academy. ATP is at Long Beach, and they can get you flying jets within a year.

"Blue Skies and Tailwinds" with your flight training!!!
