I was wondering if anybody out there has done this modification. I want to get rid of the "anemic" o-300 in my 172F and put in something with more "get up and go".
How reliable are these "PZL" FRANKLIN's and are parts readily available? I have flown a SIAI-MARCHETTI "WACO" that was powered by a FRANKLIN(AIR COOLED MOTORS) six cylinder. I was "impressed" on how smooth this engine was. Do the PZL engines have the same characteristics as the AIR COOLED MOTORS versions?
