Furloughees Without Access To Alpa Web

Hello,

According to the folks over at MidAtlantic, furloughees can view upcoming classes and download new APL preference forms from the ALPA website.

This information is, obviously, very important to furloughees.

Unfortunately ALPA has removed access to the ALPA website for furloughed pilots who have found interim employment elsewhere.

So, for those of us who are employed elsewhere, how can we go about getting this data and new APL preference forms to mail?

Call Charmane on the 1-800 # at flight records. She is the best worker at USAIR and can help you or will know who can.

I spoke with Charmane (she is exceptional, you're right!) and also with Phil Osterhaus, furlough administrator (slightly less-exceptional) <_<

Got the info I needed. Its a shame that furloughees could not keep their web-board access if they work for other ALPA carriers.

Well MDAs new health-care and insurance rates are published on the express site. FO pay rates suck, health & insurance cost more then PDT/ALG with less coverage.. Grrrrrr I think I will stick around the Prop for awhile, for some reason Jets aren't giving me the warm fuzzies right now..
