Since I have heard from many here in Miami as well as other system wide the IBT Organizers have been going door to door selling the IBT.
They are also saying they are close and have enough cards.
These organizer are telling us here at AA what they will do and what they have as far as money and members.
Well lets do some home work of your own guys and girls.
Ask them what local you will be attached too? Then look up info on that local.
Who is the prsident of that Local?
How long the Pres. has been in his position?
Can he be removed and How since we are trying to remove the TWU since we can't rid the Intl of it's Officers?
What is his career background? Why would we as part of the ATD be assigned to a Local with NO Airline Division Officers?
Why the Business Agent is Appointed by the IBT not elected? Even here at AA with the TWU we can elect our Locals Officers we won't get that with the IBT.. Why do ALL memebers in the IBT Local get a say as to what officers we the ATD memebers have in our assigned Local?
Ask the United mechanics at SFO why 1/2 of their fellow workers based in SFO are attached to the LAX local?
How come the UPS Mechanics have their own Local which is local 2727 and don't have food servers/butchers/bakers/candlestickmakers? But the United guys have that WHY?
What the IBT's plan is for the pension of the CAL guys vers the United guys with out a pension? Why is it taking so long to intergrate the seniority list with both companies having the same union? (IBT)
Ask your IBT organizer these things when He comes Knocking at your Door?
Then ask your self if you want them as our UNION?
