Grass Roots drive for TWU to replace AMFA begins.

The TWU benchwarmers have either been assigned to post here as make work, or they're just bored. Maybe both.
Happens every time the momentum increases quite a bit over at AA with the AMFA card drive. As seen on the TWU sight that certain people are "claiming" a card drive is alive and happening @ SWA for the Mechanics to bring in the TWU as representation. Which is not true at all, and as I have pointed out already, the only things being mentioned on said site is the TWU fighting against the fast paced AMFA card drive at AA by "THEIR" Mechanics in a grass roots effort. Below is a direct link to the TWU's Airline Division's web site under "Organizing Campaigns" Titled "Taking On AMFA" which has NOTHING to do with the suppose card drive at SWA for TWU representation. It's all a lie that they are trying to tell their membership. There is no current drive @ SWA for TWU representation. They did start one, or rather, tried to start one, but it failed in a matter of a few days. They did successfully hand out TWU literature to several of out supervisors, management and office workers. All the mechanics told them no way and to pack sand. So then they decided to try mailing out info to some homes where they were destroyed, burned, shredded or simply tossed in trash. Way to spend the members $$$ on wasted mailings and propaganda handed out to our management teams. They are hard core trying to fight off the drive at AA for AMFA, so they will do anything and say anything so not to get kicked out of one of the last and final airlines where the TWU represents the Mechanics.

OMG, I just did my homework on the TWO airline division's site for Taking on AMFA that they are "CLAIMING" is the drive at AA for the SWA Mechanics wanting TWU representation. On all their FB postings and even one titled SWA for TWU; and the other titled AMFA 2022 AA; they have a whopping 17 post, 10 one and 7 on the other respectively. All post are by the same poster and none of the post are from SWA mechanics wanting TWU representation on either of the 2 pages. It is all propaganda and lies to fight against the Fast paced card drive @ AA for AMFA representation and has absolutely "NOTHING" to do with any kind of "Card Drive" @ SWA to try and bring in TWU for representation. It is all BS and made up propaganda to try and slow down the drive at AA for AMFA. The card drive that outsiders from the TWU @ AA did try to get started were quickly brought to a halt within 3 days. There is no Mechanics at SWA that would be willing to even try to bring in the TWU or any other industrial union ever again, and that is fact. Stop listening to all the BS and do your own homework folks it is all there in black and white. That card drive they try to get started is completely dead in the water. All the while the AMFA card drive at AA is collecting, yet again, thousands upon thousands of cards for AMFA Representation. Get the facts people, do your homework, all the propaganda on the TWU site is exactly that, propaganda to fight off the AMFA drive and NOTHING to do with organization of the SWA Mechanics for TWU representation, not even close as claimed to be, all false, misleading, and flat out lies. It's all they have anymore...

Swampy do you have white rubber walls inside your head? You really do live in your own fantasyland. And I posted all of the homework all over these pages. AMFA barely represents anyone and they have no real successes.

BTW I thought you were ignoring me. If you were ignoring me you never would have responded to any of my postings. 😂

Swamp stop ignoring this. Why in the world would anyone seek AMFA representation if they’re so incredibly lacking in securing jobs?

Hey Swamp how about you and I make a friendly wager? How much do you want to bet that the NMB filing for Spirit and or SunCountry will be denied as an insufficient showing of interest. And then next year I’ll look at your Unions LM2’s and see payments to Seeham Seeham Meltz and Peterson that say Spirit issues/ SunCountry issues. Basically you’ll be ripped off again by SSM&P in the never ending scam.

This is what you were billed last year for AA issues and JetBlue issues. Two groups that AMFA doesn’t represent.

AMFA PREVAILS yet again! Sun Country Mechanics chose AMFA to represent their best interest within their Class and Craft. Spirit should be next with JetBlue following soon.

Welcome Sun Country Airlines Technician and Related Professionals:
You should be extremely proud of your accomplishments thus far in becoming unionized. You all have been through a lot these last years, and we look forward to helping you control your own destiny and fix the many problems you have expressed. AMFA is honored to represent you at Sun Country Airlines (SCA). Following is a quick synopsis of what to expect next.
AMFA National and Local 4 (MDW) officers and representatives will assist the SCA membership as we negotiate your first Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). In addition to an AMFA-SCA Airline Representative (ALR), your Negotiating Committee will consist of National officers, legal counsel, an economist, a pension actuary, and a health and welfare actuary, when needed. Most of the cost for professionals for negotiations will be paid with AMFA National funds until your CBA is ratified, at which time AMFA Local 4 will resume jurisdiction.
Currently, you have a SCA volunteer transition team in place, including an Interim SCA ALR who is the main point of contact for your group. The SCA ALR oversees the enforcement of your status quo work rules, pay, and benefits, and is a voting member of your Negotiating Committee. There is also an Interim Area Representative who assists the ALR on the floor as well as an Interim Shop Representatives who administer communications. In the coming months, Local 4 will call for nominations and conduction an election to fill these positions in accordance with the AMFA Constitution, Local Bylaws, and LMRDA. If you are an active member in good standing in this first election, you will be qualified to be nominated to run for these offices.
In the next few weeks, you will be receiving a New Member package containing an Application for Membership and a Dues Check-off Form, which will permit you to be a member in good standing, attend union meetings, vote on contract and letter of agreement ratification, and vote for Local and National officers and representatives. Until a CBA is ratified between AMFA and SCA, your AMFA Initiation Fee will be waved when you pay voluntary membership dues. Your dues will be used to support and pay for your SCA elected local representatives on the property and resources used at the negotiation table. Fifty percent of the dues collected will stay at your Local to pay for Local business expenses, including building rental, general membership meetings, office supplies, legal practices, grievance filings, union membership training, and arbitration and termination cases.

There is no status quo if a group doesn’t already have a CBA. Brett, AMFA or SSMP need to stop lying to people. AMFA screwed up the status quo themselves back in 1994. It’s also likely they did it on purpose because AMFA works behind the scenes for the Companies, not for the workers.
