Sorta like how unprepared Jersey and NYC were for Sandy, right?

Even if Fulton County had salt & sand to spread, they don't have nearly as many plows or spreaders to put it on the roads, since they might see snow like this once every five years...

E I thought this post was a shining example of liberalism.
Always ready to opine about something they are clueless about and always eager to spend someone else money. Let's get 10,000 tons of salt and 500 plows to sit around in case we need them once every 5 years or so.

if the locals had a clue how to drive in it they wouldn't be camping at Winn-Dixie.

no doubt yankees drive on untreated solid ice with the precision of figure skaters

it's the hurricanes they don't seem to do very well with

No need to poke fun at the folks in ATL, they just aren't accustomed to driving in these conditions nor do they have the infrastructure or personnel in place to handle the snow as efficiently as BOS or NYC. People in the NE wimp out in extreme heat, especially in places where air conditioning is less than widespread (parts of the Cape, Maine, New Hampshire Vermont, etc). Bears is your intent to smear southerners by posting this?

yeah buit most were smart enough to get the hell out of Dodge and not hang out because they didn't believe it.

I live about a 100 miles inland from where Hugo made landfall, wind were still around 100mph when it got here.
