It's supposed to hit almost 120 degrees....what is the melting temperature of TarMacademe? Last year, planes were sinking into DCA tarmacadam at an ambient temperature of just 100 degrees.

PHX is all concrete, so there's no sinking in it.

6/29 was the 4th hottest day ever recorded for PHX, topping out at 119 degrees. Some express flights were cancelled when it got too hot for the RJ's to operate.

BUT IT'S A DRY HEAT LOL!!!!

Not so when most of your clothes have soaked through with sweat. Still beats working in a cubicle though.
