I have worked for this company for many years but am giving my notice this week.
I have loved working for US Airways, but can't take the inept management any longer.
I don't mean anything to them so why should I commit my time to a company that doesn't care.
It is amazing if you look out there, you can find something different. Most people are afraid to make a change.
I have heard from many front line employees they are to old to make a change. That is not true.
It just takes effort most people don't want to make.
I am going to a company that most people have been at for many years and seem very happy. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about it from people that have worked there. Hopefully I can do 10 or 15 years there before I retire, but I am vested the minute I walk in the door!
I hope that everyone really evaluates what works best for them and take the time see if there are other options available.
Everyone that comes back here after they leave the company says that it is the best thing they have done....I feel confidant that it will be the same for me.
The mental change I had to go through was really hard. A lot of it is mental, being willing to look elsewhere.
But once I did decide to leave the weight off my shoulders felt wonderful!
I did not want to become bitter and let this affect all my life, and it was starting to.
I hope each of you can find what you need to be happy also.....
