To CLT, PHL, PIT and other No voters.

We all need to respect the majority vote and press forward. This is but one battle of many major battles ahead of us in our fight against Corporate greed. The merger will be a huge battle and many of us will take tremendous hits as mergers are NOT friends of workers. I don't think anyone was stupid for voting yes. IMO, workers were well informed and they voted with reason. The biggest obstacle for me running a campaign against the contract was that workers saw incompetent union bosses and had no hope that Canale was capable of anything better. In fact Canale himself said he couldn't do any better.

I will add more stations to the station update reports on page 7 of this thread as I get them. Some west coast stations are just now becoming available with their counts.

hey CLT, I'm thinking a US AVIATION PARTY IN CLT? I plan on coming to CLT in June and I would hope alot of us from this board can get together and party for a night.

tim count me in . ROA needs to start planning on putting the pig in the ground soon.

when the outsourcing of all those cities in the west begins and it will happen much quicker than 2011 i dont want to hear whining because you all in the west voted for the POS garbage. i applaud all the cities that voted no on this garbage my hats off to all the no voters

Once again,

I personally want to thank a few KEY UNION BROTHERS for there hard and dedicated work on there OWN time

for getting the word out and helping the membership get to the polls.. Joe, Mike F, MB,MC,NH,JW and anyone else that

worked behind the scene to make this happen . to the tellers and volunteers a big thank you.

Is that a metaphor or dare I say a pig pickn? BTW, you did a great job down there and the leadership of your committee is awesome. IMO, don't get to pissed at those who didn't vote, just keep encouraging them to participate. I know it takes energy and committment to get out a vote but with this United merger, we must still try to encourage more participation. As we must respect those who voted No and yes, we must also respect those who chose not to vote.

If we start saying screw those who stayed home or "yes voters are stupid' then we have reduced ourselves down to Randy Canale's clan and are no better than him and his folks. It's fine to be angry and it is human but we must not let the sun go down on anger, otherwise it produces resentment, and in the end, hate. All 7,700 are our brothers and sisters and no burden should be too heavy to carry.

Now, about that party, Roa said free drinks and Joe said I could be a designated driver. I don't drink but that doesn't mean I dont' have a couple beer or a glass of wine.

Hear yahh “O’…

Now, we gotta focus all our energy on gittin’ the crooked leadership out of tha IAM!

This will be accomplished with the same level of resolve, and dogged determination that we witnessed today in CLT. However.. this time votin’ in break rooms… must be strictly prohibited.

This practice just cost us dearly… talk about “stackin’ tha deckâ€!

“O"… we will prevail!

P.S. When Nelson gets here... we gonna throw down !

on page 7, a note. When I updated the station count I noticed I had transposed the count for TPA. TPA was 44 No, 11 Yes and was only one of 5 stations to vote No. TPA, PHL, PIT, CLT, ORD.

I will continue updating the list of stations that want it to be public on page 7 instead of adding more post.

As much as I appreciate the time and effort taken by all involved to provide updates on the voting results, does anyone have info on when we can expect to hear official results?

I also would like to add my thanks to all that made the effort to vote.

POSTERS...its been fun!

to me it looks like it could still swing the contract to the trash can with the counts even though the nbrs arent in as of yet?

DCA was a very solid Yes vote and a few more west stations came in. The new west station results were over 90% yes.

I'm going to bed and I hope to dream about a pig pickn BBQ and 'free drinks'!.
