True, I have been talking about solidarity. But I have also come through and built solidarity under the authority and responsibilities I had under your dime. Organizing under a union logo that most folks have been voting out was difficult but not when we built powerful teams and grew solidarity. Solidarity can exist within your group also but it starts with leadership. Those who have the authority and responsibility should know how to build solidarity and should know that a basic recipe includes sending the information and knowledge to the masses. Unfortunately, the masses are not empowered right now because the labor leaders want to keep everyone ignorant and deaf. For twenty some years you have been talking about solidarity and promoting yourself.
As far as promoting myself, I never did, I have always yielded and supported others running for office. Don't get me wrong, I have always spoke out, especially warning you guys all about how terrible the IAM pension would be back in 2003. But this time is different, yes, I am promoting myself and I will vote for myself as President.
When voting, the most important thing to consider is the leadership qualities and proven record that an individual has/had while having the authority and responsibility on your dime. I admit I am biased, but I think the scoreboard clearly shows that I was very aggressive on your dime and a proven winner under the authorities that were vested in my leadership.
Onward!
