Thursday, April 22, 2004
By Mark Belko, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The president of Hooters Air, the airline affiliated with the Hooters restaurant chain, is looking to expand into Pennsylvania and possibly Pittsburgh.

Mark Peterson yesterday said the carrier hopes to move into a city in Pennsylvania "very shortly" and that Pittsburgh is among the cities under consideration. Its route network now includes Atlanta, Baltimore, Columbus, Ohio, Fort Myers, Fla., Gary, Ind., Newark, N.J., Nassau, and its Myrtle Beach, Fla., headquarters.
