Independence Air Welcomes New Vice President of Reservations

Denise Womble Brings Extensive Background in Call Center and Customer Care Management Including Experience at US Airways and Sabre/American Airlines


DULLES, Va., July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Low-fare airline Independence Air and parent company Atlantic Coast Airlines Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACAI - News) are pleased to announce the appointment of Denise Womble to the position of Vice President, Reservations. Denise comes to Independence Air after six years at US Airways as Director, Sales and Customer Support, where she was responsible for the airline's Executive Support Customer Care Center as well as group and meeting sales. Denise also spent 20 years at Sabre/American Airlines in various positions including the management of customer care centers and help desks.

Independence Air President and COO Tom Moore said, "We couldn't be happier that Denise is now part of the Independence Air team. In addition to her airline experience, Denise was recently elected to Board of Directors of National Capital Chapter Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has a BA from George Mason University.

On June 16, 2004, Independence Air began low-fare service at Washington Dulles International Airport. Independence Air will continue to add new destinations and flights throughout July and August, growing to 600 daily systemwide departures by summer's end, making Washington Dulles the largest low-fare hub in America.

Looks like Independence Air took on two former US Airways Execs. The former Station Mgr. from Philly and now Denise from Res.
 
I guess the bonuses they are giving those people on top are really holding them here. Loyalty begins at the bottom gentlmen.Unfortunatly, thats where you'll be cutting from.Think nothing of ridding yourselves of the overpaid execs who made the stupid mistakes that put us where we are. :up:
