They ACTUALLY reported it as an express flight ..AND that it is operated by Mesa! Wow! of course, it took 2 people to write this short article. .AND a couple of things were repeated (that they didn't know when it would take off, and that Mesa had no comment)

Speaking of which, I nailed one of those rent-a-cops on the ramp who thinks his badge belongs in his pocket. In a loud voice I let him know, "YOUR SIDA BADGE MUST BE VISIBLE ON YOUR OUTERMOST GARMENT ABOVE THE WAIST! DISPLAY YOUR BADGE NOW!" This guy didn't even look me in the eye, but he did what I told him to do. Later inquiries from other employees confirmed that this guy does this constantly. Next time I guarantee I will make short shrift of this dude. A call to the bored county cops and this should be a real neat event in full public view.

The last DG issue we had at PIT was quite some time ago. Cargo tried to ship a box with 20 lbs. of dry ice on an Express flight. It was sent back with an explanation, and the box was sent a different way. Not bad when the possibility of something worse getting shipped on a flight is always out there.
